Sheffield: On 21-22 October, innovators, founders, investors, policymakers and ecosystem leaders will gather at the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield, for the Northern Tech Summit, a two-day event focused on one of the biggest opportunities facing the UK tech sector: how the North can work together to compete on a global stage.
As the North continues to establish itself as a powerhouse for innovation, the Summit will explore how stronger collaboration between cities, clusters and organisations can unlock investment, accelerate business growth and create new opportunities for entrepreneurs. From Manchester and Leeds to Liverpool, Sheffield, Newcastle and beyond, attendees will hear how a more connected Northern ecosystem can drive economic impact far greater than the sum of its parts.
Delegates will hear from the Head of Ventures at Sovereign AI, Chair of Innovate UK Tom Adeyoola, CEO of Data platform Dealroom will launch a report into tech in the North, as well as mix of quality startups, deep tech spinouts, and those focussed on collaboration across regional tech ecosystems.
The programme will also feature inspiring case studies from businesses that have started, scaled and succeeded in the North. These stories will highlight the talent, investment and support available across the region, proving that ambitious companies can build and grow world-class businesses without leaving the North.
The Summit begins on 21 October with the Northern Startup Showcase, taking place from 4pm at Trafalgar Warehouse, Sheffield. The showcase will bring together some of the North's most exciting startups alongside investors, corporates and ecosystem partners for an evening of networking, innovation and opportunity.
